I haven’t found a natural remedy to help the pain go away for a gout attack. You can read here to see what they suggest:

As far as scripts from a doctor, indomethacine and colchicine are excellent to help the pain go away in a few days.
A permanent regimen should be established to help rid the body of uric acid. Here’s what works for me:
1) Allopurinol, it’s inexpensive and no side effects
2) Celery seed pills… may help the liver to not create so much uric acid
3) Lots of water drinking: 1 oz for every 2 lbs of body weight each day
4) Make the body more alkaline: sip on 8 oz of water mixed with 1/2 tsp of baking soda
Good luck to you!
pop it and soak in salt for thirty minutes
my friends dad had the same thing.
doc told him less red meat and less beer.
